Thanks to the generosity of the local community, during the 2011 Toys for Tots campaign, 184771 toys were distributed to 163456 less fortunate children in this area. We look forward to working with everyone again in 2012. Thank you.

 Mission of Toys For Tots

 The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.


For All Single Families looking for support, please contact your local DCFS, Church, or Youth Groups.  Due to the high volume of requests each year our focus is solely on supporting Non-Profit Agencies within the Cook County area.  Below is a list of all the towns and cities of Chicago we cover within the Cook County area:

Wheeling, Northbrook, Glenview, Glencoe, Winnetka, Arlington Heights, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village, Des Plains, Park Ridge, Niles,  Morton Grove, Wilmette, Skokie, Evanston, Lincolnwood, Harwood Heights, Norridge, Schiller Park, Franklin Park, River Grove, Melrose Park, Elmwood Park, Oak Park, River Forest, Maywood, Bellwood, Hillside, Broadview, Westchester, La Grange Park, Brookfield, LaGrange, Countryside, Lyons, N. Riverside, Berwyn, Cicero, Stickney, Oak Park, Summit, Bridgeview,  Justice, Burbank, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, Evergreen Park, Blue Island, and Calumet Park.

501(c)(3) (Non-Profit Organizations) Applicants


The Chicago Toys for Tots Program works with Non-Profit Organizations that meet all the Qualifications on our Application.  Please click on the Request Toys Tab above and follow the Directions in order to print out the NEW 2011 Application (This option will become available at the end of September ).

Processing of applications will begin on 1 October for the 2011 Toys for Tots Season and will end on 18 November.  Please Remember no Faxes or Emails are allowed.  All applications must be MAILED to:

Once applications have been received and verified and all required information is present, it will be filled in chronological order.  If there is any missing information we will contact the individual who submitted the form as soon as possible.  You will be contacted once your request has been filled, we cannot guarantee that all request will be filled and please remember all request are to picked up within 48 hours of notification.

REQUIRED INFORMATION

1.  Copy of your IRS 501(c)(3).

2.  New 2011 Application (Previous Year Applications will not be accepted).

3.  Name/Age/Gender/Address for all children receiving toys.

Due our current operational commitment we are in need of your support this year.  Please fill out our new T4T Drop-Site Form which can be found by clicking on the “Toy Drop-Offs” Tab at the top of this page.


Local Events

Fill out the Event Request Form and email it to chicagotoysfortots@gmail.com with EVENT REQUEST in the subject line (Because of filters setup on our email this must be in the subject line).  Give the office 48-72 hours to respond to your email with APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL of your request.  If we cannot take part in your event we will gladly make arrangements to pick up or have donations dropped off to our Toys for Tots office.  Please understand that we receive over 100 emails a day and it may take more time to respond.  Due to additional military commitments events might be subject to change with short notice.  We begin to monitor all email traffic as early as 1 September.                                                              


 Volunteers

The Marines of Chicago are asking for your support.  If you would like to volunteer for Toys for Tots please fill out the Volunteer Request Form.  Once complete email us at chicagotoysfortots@gmail.com with the document and in the subject line put VOLUNTEER (Because of filters setup on our email this must be in the subject line).  Please allow us 48-72 hours to respond.  We begin to monitor all email traffic as early as 1 September.
